A message from the founder
With my work of many years with children I have learned my passion in giving children a better life is rooted in my own childhood. At a point in time in my early childhood I was a refugee, homeless in this world, I have vivid memories of all those who assisted us, and how the simplest of gestures remained lifetime memories for me.
My story began in 2011, with volunteer work in orphanages and with vulnerable children across the Kurdistan Region. My personal inner passion soon became a community project with hundred of people across the Kurdistan Region joining our voluntary campaigns.
In 2012 the large scale volunteer work our network of youth undertook was a source of motivation to launch this NGO. Perozi is entirely non-profit with all those working in our projects being volunteers, including myself! For helping children for a better future is the duty, not the job, of all of us for a better, brighter Kurdistan.
The name Perozi originates in my late mother's name, Peroz, who has inspired me and continues to inspire me though she left us at a very young age.
I hope the work I do, the work we do, together, through Perozi Foundation, is a contribution to her soul as she rests...
